The mastermind behind it was Ryan Firpo and due to such positive reviews of the video PokerStars has gotten more videos released!

The latest Team Online short video is featuring Tyler ‘frosty012′ Frost. He actually lives here in Vancouver, BC, Canada just like myself! I definitely recommend watching the video for nice insight to this guys life. I met him personally at the PCA and he’s a great well balanced guy. He really does believe the time spent away from the table is just as important as the time spent at the tables. On that note, I believe it’s a very good point that recreational time is just as important to keep your spirits up & give you something to go to when you need a break. Also it’s good to have balance so that you aren’t so absorbed into poker that the downswings and such hurt more. Overall, give the video a watch! I think it’s a great reminder to work hard but have a balanced life.

Hello everyone! The Micro Millions is here! Basically it’s the micro version of all of the big tournament series out there! Cool thing is that the buy-ins are ridiculously low and you can win huge prizes with them. Definitely going to be a lot of fun with huge fields at such a low price! There’s one special event that’s coming up tomorrow Sunday March 18, event 34: $5.50 NL holdem knockout turbo. This event will have an extra number of team pros playing it, myself included and we’ll all have a bounty on our heads of $50! That’s 10 times the buy-in just for busting one of us which is huge. I recommend you guys check out the Micro Millions if you get the chance and I’ll be playing some of these events as well. Who knows maybe I’ll even record some. =)

Hey everyone! You guys are probably use to me making video blogs as of lately but that doesn’t mean I can’t mix it up! So the newest tournament series around the corner on PokerStars is the ‘World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP)!’ The WBCOOP begins soon on February 23rd & ends on March 4th with over $50k in SCOOP tickets. Plus there’s lots of extra prizes such as:

$5,000 CASH for the Best WBCOOP 2012 Blogger
$1,000 CASH for the Best WBCOOP 2012 Live Tweeter (use hashtag #wbcoop)
and $11 in T-Money for busting any of the members of Team Online in these tournaments! Myself included!

They’re also running a leaderboard where 1st place is going to get a WBCOOP trophy, tournament package worth up to $7,000 in value, SCOOP medium Main event ticket, and a special chipset.

If you get 2nd in the leaderboard, you’ll get the SCOOP medium Main event ticket and the chipset. 3rd will get a Step 4 ticket and chipset.

This is truly one of the best freerolls ever in my opinion. I say this because the prizes they are giving away is quite amazing and you don’t even have to spend any money to enter! Pretty cool that players of all skill levels can compete in this too.

Personally, I love blogging. It’s a great way to connect with other people especially with those that share the same hobbies as yourself. Whenever I post blogs especially about poker hands, it actually helps develop my game as well. You start analyzing hands even more and you start to learn things you didn’t realize. Plus it’s great to get people to share ideas about the game and even better when we get some interaction going that might help one another. In my opinion, you guys should definitely try it out some time since it’s always great to express yourself and hey it might improve your game too.

The record I’m trying to set is the most hands played in an 8 hour period while showing [...]]]> Besides making it to day 2 of the PCA Main Event with 16,200 chips, I’ll be attempting to set a Guinness World Record in the presence of an official Guinness certified judge at the PCA, today.

The record I’m trying to set is the most hands played in an 8 hour period while showing a profit. This is going to be a lot of fun so come and show your support! If you’re at the PCA, I’ll be in the main tournament area on the right corner as you walk in the main door. If you aren’t at the PCA, you can follow the action online on PokerStars to see the action live! Also, you can go to www.nanonoko.com to see a live updating stats on the record attempt.
It’ll display the number of hands played, number of current tables, the net amount won, and the start & end time.

There’s also a special promotion running for this! If you play 100 hands with me during the World Record Attempt you’ll gain an entry into an exclusive $5,000 freeroll on Sunday, January 15th. You will most likely find me at the .25/.50 cent tables or you could also find me by using the search feature in the PokerStars client.
