The WSOP has been a grind so far and I’ve done okay so far. Now the $1,000,000 One Drop WSOP event is here and my housemates and we decided to have some fun and do a draft. Based on some random order, I got to pick 1st then James “mig.com” Mackey, then Blake Cahail, and lastly Blair Hinkle. The way this draft worked was a snake style meaning when it got to Blair, he got to pick the 5th pick and then it went backwards so I ended up getting the 8th pick. Then back and forth. We decided to all get 6 players on our teams. The top name being the 1st pick, then 2nd and so on.
Extra note, we started picking part way through the beginning of the tournament so some people had more chips and some had less. All players started with 3 million chips. Paul and Gus were chipleaders at the time w/ about 4.5 million 3.8million respectively. Some of the strong players that got picked later or not at all were lower on chips w/ like 1.5-2 million chips so it would’ve been disadvantageous. We’re playing for who has the player w/ the deepest finish and a combined overall team placement standing throughout the tournament. Anyhow here’s the teams! Who’s team do you like best? (better if you answer before anyone busted!) Let me know!
*Disclaimer – the picks don’t indicate how we think some players stack overall in talent. A lot of it was for fun. And also realized after no one wanted to pick Paul but me!

Hi randy,
Are you still making videos on pokernews strategy or did you stop that ? I used to watch and appreciate this.
Obv. When you have the phils you have a great shot to win. And now hellmuth and rast 1&2 chips i like your chances
haha nice they all said my team was the worst lol
James is screwed. Elky, Seidel and Schulmann already gone. Blair is screwed as well, with Robl, Smith and Duhamel all out early. Therefore, heads up between Randy and Blake. LOL
You and Blake def got the best teams. Tobias at softest table, Hellmuth guaranteed to mincash and Gus can legit win this thing. Ivey gonna Ivey obv. Rast also a monster. And Blake with Marchese, Vivek and Lamb is stacked too.
