World Blogger Championship of Online Poker!

Hey everyone! You guys are probably use to me making video blogs as of lately but that doesn’t mean I can’t mix it up! So the newest tournament series around the corner on PokerStars is the ‘World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP)!’ The WBCOOP begins soon on February 23rd & ends on March 4th with over $50k in SCOOP tickets. Plus there’s lots of extra prizes such as:

$5,000 CASH for the Best WBCOOP 2012 Blogger
$1,000 CASH for the Best WBCOOP 2012 Live Tweeter (use hashtag #wbcoop)
and $11 in T-Money for busting any of the members of Team Online in these tournaments! Myself included!

They’re also running a leaderboard where 1st place is going to get a WBCOOP trophy, tournament package worth up to $7,000 in value, SCOOP medium Main event ticket, and a special chipset.

If you get 2nd in the leaderboard, you’ll get the SCOOP medium Main event ticket and the chipset. 3rd will get a Step 4 ticket and chipset.

This is truly one of the best freerolls ever in my opinion. I say this because the prizes they are giving away is quite amazing and you don’t even have to spend any money to enter! Pretty cool that players of all skill levels can compete in this too.

If you want to be a part of WBCOOP 2012 and win free stuff and try and knock me out of some tournaments to win some free prizes then all you got to do is tell PokerStars “what you would do if you won the $5,000 cash prize as the best WBCOOP 2012 blogger” by making either a ’60-second video blog’ or a ’500-word (minimum) text blog’. Also, don’t forget to share it with your friends so they have a shot at winning too. When you submit your entry at http://pokerstars.com/wbcoop you’ll get 10 tickets to play in any of the 30 events. If you cash in any of these events, you’ll get a ticket to play the main event.

Personally, I love blogging. It’s a great way to connect with other people especially with those that share the same hobbies as yourself. Whenever I post blogs especially about poker hands, it actually helps develop my game as well. You start analyzing hands even more and you start to learn things you didn’t realize. Plus it’s great to get people to share ideas about the game and even better when we get some interaction going that might help one another. In my opinion, you guys should definitely try it out some time since it’s always great to express yourself and hey it might improve your game too.

Now that I think about it, I wonder what I’d do if I won the $5,000 cash prize? I’d probably spend it on video blogging equipment so I can make some better quality fun videos for you guys. Well hey now that I think about it, I’ll probably do that anyway!
