Besides making it to day 2 of the PCA Main Event with 16,200 chips, I’ll be attempting to set a Guinness World Record in the presence of an official Guinness certified judge at the PCA, today.
The record I’m trying to set is the most hands played in an 8 hour period while showing a profit. This is going to be a lot of fun so come and show your support! If you’re at the PCA, I’ll be in the main tournament area on the right corner as you walk in the main door. If you aren’t at the PCA, you can follow the action online on PokerStars to see the action live! Also, you can go to www.nanonoko.com to see a live updating stats on the record attempt.
It’ll display the number of hands played, number of current tables, the net amount won, and the start & end time.
There’s also a special promotion running for this! If you play 100 hands with me during the World Record Attempt you’ll gain an entry into an exclusive $5,000 freeroll on Sunday, January 15th. You will most likely find me at the .25/.50 cent tables or you could also find me by using the search feature in the PokerStars client. This simple formulation as rule for the record would have made your record much more unique and all the negativ discussions at 2+2 would not exist!!!
As poker player I have lot of respect for you and your ability to play up to 24 tables at the same time profitable. In my opinion the fact that you played most of the time 25c/50c during your world record attempt and once you were down about 1200$ you started to play 5/10 to settle your losses faster, makes it an invitation to exploit the not clearly defined rules of this record! The reason for this is that some guy can auto fold 24k hands at 1c/2c (costs about 120$) and he only had to win little more at higher limits to beat your record and to do so he doesn´t have to be such a great multitable genius as you are!!!
Everyone reaches at some point the maximum of tables where he can profitable play poker and win some money!!! So, such a record only makes sense if the limit you play is the same during the 8 hours, otherwise it´s too easy for people to abuse the system in the future to beat your record!!!
And in my opinion you realy deserve to have this world record because you are one of the greatest multi tablers ever!!!
SO PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE STUPID RULES THAT ALLOWED YOU TO SWITCH LIMITS!!!
