So today, I woke up pretty late…4:45 pm local time to be exact or rather 16:45 is how they measure time. And when I woke up, I still felt very tired so I laid in my bed for a bit. When I finally woke up, it was towards 6:00 pm. Steve runs the VIP club and is also our go to guy for Team Online and he wanted to meet w/ the members of Team Online that was here in Monaco. So we scheduled to meet for dinner at 7:00 pm. That’s when I met Andre Coimbra and Jorge Arias also known as acoimbra and twin-caracas, respectively. Although, I can’t quite say I met them there because I met Andre at the airport and Jorge at my table on day 1a. It was a very enjoyable and knowledgeable dinner and I am very glad to meet all of them. The internet has been a bit spotty where it turns on and off but it’s not too huge of a deal. I’m most likely planning to walk around and revisit the city either tomorrow or the day after but it’ll probably depend on what time I wake up since tourism is much better during the day.
Now on to the more technical poker stuff, if you’ve been following my twitter updates, you’ll notice that I mentioned that I was at the same table as Patrik Antonius. also in a small $11 omaha game its almost never worth it to bluff, I saw the replay with the scoop pl om and how you lost your chips on that bluff hand, btw gelato in moraco is amazing I have also been to that shop. i had the creme brulee gelato and the amaretto chocolate
i think he had ace king with either the ace or king of hearts, hoping to take it down on the flop and then re-raised so he would get a free card on the turn, with the turn being a blank for him and by re-raising he got to see the river for free. then with no heart or ace/king on the river he had nothing to call you with. and i think he was pausing because he thought you were over betting and if you had something strong you would of bet less to entice a call so he paused to think if he should re-raise you all in and then show the bluff to all of the cameras watching.
